I was born in Omaha , Nebraska on July 28th 1961. I was raised a Roman Catholic and I attended Catholic schools the first few years of my life. Art was encouraged when I was growing up and all of my family members have artistic ability. When I was 14 I saved up my lunch money to buy a guitar and I have been involved with music ever since. I still love to play and music has also been one of the main subjects of my art.
When I was 18 I joined the U.S.Navy.I seved as a signalman on the U.S.S. Harlan County LST 1196.
I was fortunate enough to see a good deal of the world.I was especially grateful for the chance to spend several months in Italy where I visited many of the ancient monuments and museums particularly the Vatican.
I did a lot of drawing while I was a sailor and I painted several murals on the ship as well as seascapes.
After my discharge I studied painting with the Italian Master, Oscar Sormani. I also attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha as well as Northeast Technical Community College where I studied painting and dramatic arts.
In 1992 I opened "The Midnight Art Warehouse" an alternative site to display mine and others art as well as a place where musicians could meet.
I love to bicycle and I enjoy long bicycle camping trips. I have ridden across several different states in the Midwest, solo.
Recently I have been learning about web development. I began to learn HTML so I could put up my own web site but as time progresses I find myself eager to learn other interesting things about the subject.
Since it is very much in its infancy the possibilities are limitless. I hope to be able to continue to improve the look of this site.
If you are interested in learning HTML go to my friend
